Bits and Pieces About Me

Hi, everyone! Today I am linking up with Becky at From Mrs. To Mama in this fun all-you-need-to-know-about-me-and-my-life post. I'm sure, we all want to get to know more about the person behind the blog so, here's my little way of letting you peek into my life and some of the things I have done and wish to do in the future.

1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?
I’ve been blogging since 2010. I started writing my thoughts in this online journal because I was inspired by someone to share inspiration, positive vibes and life-lessons through blogging. There was this guy I greatly admired and while trying to get to know more about him, I scoured the internet and I stumbled upon his blog. Since then, I never stopped writing and posting pictures here. Yes, my blog has changed in design and lay-out but it remains the same – my life’s chronicler and a living testament to God’s blessings.

2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
I went to the University of the Philippines. I graduated in 2009 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication.

3. Where have you traveled?
I have not gone out of the country but I’ve been to various places in the Philippines. Here are pictures of some of the beautiful places in my country.

4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
I’d definitely buy a house.

5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
Messy/dirty places (and people).
Poor customer service.
Rudeness.

6. What is your favorite movie?
Serendipity! (Always and forever!!)

7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
I love tea, hot or iced. And I’m currently a big fan of Milktea.

8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time? I love to read books. Stay at home, watch my favorite TV programs, cook and eat good food. Or pamper myself by having a full-body massage. Speaking of, I badly need one right now!

9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
First on my list s Forever21! Definitely a great place for shopping dresses and other casual and formal wear. Other shops like Kamiseta and Bayo are great too!

10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
I was sitting by the window  inside a van on the way to some place and on my right was my male friend. I was too sleepy but I couldn't  (and was too shy to) lean on his shoulder so I rested my head on the other side. But then the ride was so bumpy, my head kept hitting the van's window. I thought every passenger  was asleep and  I was the only one who could hear the banging sound. To my dismay, my guy friend heard it loud and clear and he was laughing terribly!  Plus, my head was really hurt.

11. What day would you love to relive again?
There are a lot of moments I'd love to relive again, this is one of them. Sometime in May, 2010 my younger brother, Erick had his simple profession to the Dominican Order - Philippine Province. It was a joyous day for all of, plus I got to be with my family.

12. If your life was turned into a movie... what actor would play you?
Is it too much to ask for Kate Beckinsale? haha. She's my favorite actress so I'd have to choose her.

13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
I once worked as Library Assistant in college. I shelved books and assisted students, professors and other researchers use our online resources. I also worked as Legal Assistant to the corporate lawyer of a Korean business and consultancy firm for my internship. And I've worked as Tutor to Koreans since 2007.

14. Show us a picture from high school or college.
This is a picture taken in college with a few of my college friends.

These two pictures were taken in college with some of my highschool friends.

15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go? I'd go to South Korea!

16. Show us the most current picture of you or your family, or anything of meaning to you.
This is my home away from home, and my family away from my real family. This was taken last Sunday with friends in Mukha-Ad, a church-based organization for the youth, as we opened another formation year.

17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
Five years from now, I'd be married to the most loving man in the world. We'd be happy building our small family. It would be great if we'd have our own house by then and have our own successful careers. By that time, I'm finished with gradschool and all my siblings have graduated from college and having the time of their lives. My parents by then have also retired and are enjoying themselves.
