Send-Off Weekend

The weekend was a mix of emotions as we savor a day with a dear friend who's leaving soon. Although it is true that partings are ordinary phases of life, it is always never easy to say goodbye to a friend whose presence has always been so consistent and a source of joy. 

The day commenced with a sumptuous lunch at a Chinese restaurant amidst a heavy downpour. Although the sun was up, the streets of the metro were soaked in the storm that began the night before. Servings of fried chicken, sweet and sour pork, spicy spareribs, noodles and dumplings graced the table. It was a meal filled with laughter and picture-taking.

The afternoon led to a shower of farewell messages, hugs, tears, laughter, a surprise dance number and another round of endless  snapping and clicking of cameras as every moment was captured for future reminiscing.


Our friend, Cam, is going to California for good. And so this funny duo found this song fitting for their hilarious performance simply because of the state's name. :) They gave such a great performance! (sorry, can't upload the video for confidentiality's sake! haha)

Which led to an outburst of laughter among us, nonetheless, it made Cam cry a bucket of tears.



We will miss you, Cam!!
