Just Before I Turn Twenty-Three
Time flies when you're having fun. You wake up and half the year is gone. You're twenty-three (Less than twenty-four hours from now).And I thank the Lord for the wonderful year that he has blessed me with. I believe that greater things are ahead of me, but this chapter in my life is something that I would always cherish. I’ve learned so much from the year that has passed and I wish to always carry along with me bits of wisdom that I have gathered from my experiences, from the people I’ve met, mistakes that I’ve made and realizations I have come up with through books, movies and life’s realities.
And here are some that I’d like to share with you:
♥Trust God in every circumstance because He has a way of turning a problem into a blessing. If we do so, we can calmly sleep in the storm.
♥It is always better to give than to receive. Give even when it hurts; give even when you think there’s nothing left for you. Because God will reward you beyond what you expect. I’ve proven this time and time again.
♥Avoid judging people from what you see outside. See their goodness. Because it might be that the very person you thought you’ll never get along with, is the same person who’ll show you such genuine friendship.
♥Always treasure relationships more than money, power or fame. They are the real source of genuine happiness. Do good.
♥ Do well. Do best.

ReplyDeleteI love these lines. totoo no.ü you wake up and half the year is gone already, but it's good to know you wake up happy. and you continue to do so for the next half, and the next full year after that, and all the years to come.
to say that you are a very good friend is an understatement. you mean more than that. and you are truly an inspiring person. i'm just glad we share the same liking to harry potter that i noticed you, wearing "mrs. daniel radcliffe" (or was it "mrs.harry potter") shirt six years (almost) ago, that we now share such wonderful friendship.

The shirt was “Mrs. Daniel Radcliffe”. Most of our classmates in Socsci remember me for that shirt. Haha. I owe our friendship to that class. Hehehe. Thank you so much! mwah
